Borrego 1 Solar Project

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This noise study has been completed to determine the noise impacts associated with the development of the proposed Borrego 1 Solar Project located on a single parcel totaling approximately 308 gross acres. The Project is located in the unincorporated community of Borrego Springs in eastern portion of San Diego County, CA.

Based on the empirical data, the manufactures specifications, and the distances to the property lines, the unshielded cumulative noise levels from the proposed transformers/inverters and the site Substation were found to be below the most restrictive nighttime property line (zoned S-92) standard of 45 dBA at all property lines.
