On March 2 the Joint Planning Commission voted 5 to 2 that large-scale solar would benefit Mason County. That non-binding vote, coupled with its proposing an ordinance to regulate solar, established, on the public record, that the JPC supports Mason County benefiting from solar.

However, as amended version 6 is full of poison pill requirements that make it impossible for solar to contribute to Mason County’s ecological and economic future.

If the local legislative bodies enact Limestone Solar’s proposed alternative, then well-regulated large-scale solar to contribute to Mason County’s ecological and economic future.
